  • Great! Leverage that! Have all of your managers been amazing? I’m guessing…no. Being a Deliberate Leader is a lifelong journey, we can always get better.

  • So this idea is the Sunk Cost Fallacy - if the money you’re already spending isn’t doing the job…how are you planning to change that? Let’s make sure that money does what it’s supposed to.

  • It’s important for you to figure out what you CAN systemize and do that. Otherwise you’re going to be stuck doing everything yourself forever, and that sounds awful to me - what about you?

  • You vetted this hire. It’s unlikely that they’re just bad at their job. It’s more likely that you need to do a better job of communicating your vision and expectations. (Tough love, baby, I’ve got it IN SPADES.)

  • Once you apply, we chat, and you pay to secure your spot, you’re in for the 12 month program! You, your cohort, and I will meet 2x per month for 1.5 hours. The 1st meeting of the month will be focused on skill building (but don’t worry - there’ll also be time for burning questions), and the 2nd is for hot seat coaching (I’ll make sure EVERYONE gets a turn). You’ll also be in a WhatsApp thread with your cohort to keep everyone connected, and we’ll check in every quarter - just you and me - to see how it’s going.

  • That’s what the WhatsApp group is for! You’ll be in a cohort with business owners that are experiencing the same struggles, who are sure to have excellent ideas. And I’ll check in to answer questions sent to the thread daily.

  • Unfortunately, no. You and your cohort will be working closely together. And once a spot is yours, it’s yours. In a group as small as this, you’re going to be counting on each other. So if you leave, it’ll create a big gap in the group. Of course, if there’s a serious life event and you won’t be able to continue, let me know and we’ll figure out the best course of action together.

  • Honestly…I wish. I tried to come up with a 6 month program, but it just wasn’t going to result in the transformation that you and your team deserve. I hope to someday have self-paced courses to offer for leaders who’d prefer that. Make sure you follow me so you hear about those launches in the future!

  • Yes! No matter what kind of check you’re cutting, you still need to know how to lead. Managers are letting down their teams, their clients/stakeholders, and themselves. That’s true in big corporations and small entrepreneurships alike. (I would bet money that you have AT LEAST one terrible boss story.) You can do better! You’re about to do better.

Managing a team is hard. Managing a remote team is even harder. Managing a remote team when you don’t have your own boss to mentor you in leadership is…???
